Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam emphasized the urgent need for a “technological revolution” in the fruit sector to scale these products to billion-dollar export levels.

It will focus on attracting businesses in key sectors, including: export-oriented manufacturing, cross-border logistics, international e-commerce corporations, bonded warehousing centers, supporting industries, and high-tech enterprises.

This year marks the summit’s debut as an international event, bringing together over 30 expert speakers and approximately 300 guests from more than 10 countries.

The move aims to lower logistics costs, stimulate economic growth, and support Vietnam’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

During a meeting held on July 20, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called for acceleration of science – technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.

A data exchange is to be established in Vietnam and will support, among other things, the country’s digital transformation and socio-economic development.
